Alexandra M. Lucas is a Narrative Designer and Game Writer, most recently for Electronic Arts-Ridgeline Games, and a 2023 IGDA Next Gen Leader Virtual Exchange grantee. Previously, she was a Narrative Designer for Stoic andCrazy Maple Studio, a mentee in ArenaNet's Game Narrative Mentorship Program, a writer for Immersed Games and Day7 Interactive, and a content writer for Microsoft's Cortana team. She earned a B.A. in French and English (creative writing concentration) from Wellesley College, and she studied game design at DigiPen.

In order to become the first person to win the GDC Game Narrative Review competition twice at the Platinum level, Alexandra analyzed romance and sexuality in Dragon Age: Origins and mental health in Heavy Rain. Her short stories and poetry have been publishedin HamLit, Coffin Bell Journal, and Wingless Dreamer, and she won the 2022 Dark Sire Creative Award for Psychological Realism for her short story, "In the Deep" (originally published in HamLit).

She has spoken at PAX Dev, GDC, GeekGirlCon, the NEPCA Conference, Wellesley College, and the DigiPen Institute of Technology. At GDC 2017, Alexandra was a mentee in the Diversity in Games Alliance'sAmplifying New Voices program.

Alexandra co-founded SoYouWantToMake.Games, a boutique consultancy for game industry job applicants. For two years, she hosted and wrote weekly scripts for the Cheat Codes Podcast.

In her free time, she is an avid recreational tennis player and home baker, and she's currently playing Diablo IV. Alexandra also enjoys exploring the PNW with her spouse and their corgi, Obie.
