4 Hattiesburg American Friday, June 27, 1980 American Living Candlelight ceremony unites Adelia Byrd, James Bush Mary Adelia Byrd became the bride of James H. Bush the evening of May 31 in the First Baptist Church of Union. Parents of the couple are Warren Ashford Byrd of Hattiesburg and the Rev. and Mrs. J.P.
Bush of Union. The Rev. Mr. Bush performed the ceremony before a background of candles and ferns. Two large baskets of gladioli, carnations and daisies accented the altar.
Nuptial music was provided by Michael Copeland, nephew of the bridegroom, who sang Whether Thou Goest. Gwin Richardson played the flute. The bride wore a gown of peau satin overlaid with chiffon and lace. The lifted bodice was designed with a sweetheart neckline and bishop sleeves. The lace-trimmed wrapped sheer skirt formed a chapel-length weddings train.
Her chapel-length veils fell from a portrait hat ovelaid with chiffon and pearl-studded ruching. Mrs. Alice Thompson of Hattiesburg served as matron of honor. She wore a gown of yellow chiffon, featuring a wrapped skirt, and carried a cascade bouquet of multicolor pastel carnations, yellow daisies and babies' breath. John Hurt of Jackson was best man, and ushers were Larry and Malcolm Byrd of Petal, brothers of the bride.
Following the ceremony a reception was held in the church fellowship hall. Assisting were Mrs. Karen Byrd, Mrs. Diane Ezell, Pam and Nancy Bush and Mrs. Jenny Hurt.

Miss Donna Suzanne Hogue became the bride of Theron Justin West the afternoon of May 31 in the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Hogue of Hattiesburg. Parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs.
Willard Daley, also of Hattiesburg. The Rev. Bill Mitchell performed the ceremony before a background of ferns and a magnolia and ivy-covered brass arch. Nuptial music was provided by Miss Angela Hogue of Hattiesburg, sister of the bride. The bride wore a gown of candlelight chiffon fashioned with a fitted bodice and an open neckline.
Her silk illusion carried a bouquet of beige silk rosebuds. Mrs. Tanya Crider of Lumberton served as matron of honor. She wore a peach chiffon gown designed with a fitted bodice and an open neckline and carried a bouquet of peach silk roses and rosebuds. Ronnie Toussaint of Hattiesburg was best man, and Keith Hogue, brother of the bride, ushered.
