What's the strongest trimmer line? ›

The extra cutting strength offered by this line makes it perfect for medium to heavy duties. It's ideal for commercial jobs.

While there are some models that you can buy pre-strung spools, most still require the existing spool to be restrung. Be sure to carefully clean any debris within the weed eater head so you can see the interior clearly. Depending on the size of your spool, it will need 15 – 25 ft length of string.

You generally need 10 to 20 feet of trimmer line, but it would depend on your weed eater's design and spool size. Check your user manual for the exact measurements for your model.
