Mitch McConnell will be in Paducah on Tuesday to speak in support of Bruce Brockenborough, Republican candidate for the 3rd District state House seat. Orrin Ingram, president and chief executive officer of Nashville, Ingram Industries, will dedicate two buildings: A new two-story central office complex resembling a tow-boat pilot house that contains a crew lounge and dining area large enough for town meetings. It will house about 50 operations, human resources, crew dispatch, recruiting and other support personnel transferring from Ingram's old fleeting operations base at 101 Washington St. A renovated 19th-century building which for 53 years was owned by Southern Textile Machinery containing Ingram's custom fuel services, barge maintenance, information technology, purchasing and warehouse functions.
